In America The early performing arts accomplishments of young Maureen FitzSimons (who we know as Maureen O'Hara) would definitely place her into the child prodigy category. For a child of Irish background, surrounded by talented parents and a loving family, those were not innate traits. Maureen moved into this loving home on the 17th of August 20th in Ranelagh. Marguerita FitzSimons' mother, Lilburn, was a contralto. Charles FitzSimons owned the Shamrock Rovers soccer team in Ireland. He also owned a Dublin business. Maureen FitzSimons was the daughter of Charles FitzSimons. Peggy, Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons completed this lovely family. Maureen was a great athlete and was a gruelling athlete in sports when she was a young. In addition to this her talent, she also had a knack to act. In the end, she won the majority of the Feis Awards for acting and dramatic performances within her own country. When she was in her 14th year she joined at the Abbey Theater to follow her aspirations and pursue studies in the classical theater and operatic singing.
